Welcome Mahasiddhas, Here are THE LIST RULES: 1. No posting Tantra texts here. 2. You are welcome to post Buddhist Sutras from any of the 111 volumes (Kangyur and Tengyur) of sacred scriptures which consists of the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma only. 3. No arguing, fighting, debating over these precious sutras which ends up hurting people's feelings and creating all sorts of negativity. 4. If anyone disparages, distorts, or puts false Sutras in the group intentionally; this person may be banned. 5. The person who puts a text in our group must identify their source, namely the Sutra by name (and links to full text are optional). SUTRA DEFINITION: Means all Hinayana-Sutras from the Theravada Pali Canon. Example topics include the Vinaya (monastic discipline) and Abhidhamma (philosophy) as well as: The Middle Way The four noble truths The Noble Eightfold Path Three marks of existence (impermanence, suffering, not-self) Five aggregates (of a person) Dependent arising Karma and rebirth Jhana (meditative absorption) The bodhipakkhiyādhammā (37 factors conducive to awakening) Kleshas and asavas (mental defilements) Avidyā (Ignorance) Nirvana (the goal of Buddhism, the complete end of suffering)
